The Beer World is one of the newest museums in Tartu, which opened in 2022 in the A. Le Coq brewery after thorough renovation. The company, which started operating as a brewery, has grown into a producer of a wide range of beverages in over 200 years. The brewery’s extensive history makes it possible to exhibit items and tell stories that can’t be read in books or found in other museums.
We welcome you on our Beer World tour:
|Tue to Fr||11.00 – 18.00|
|Sat||11.00 – 17.00|
We advise you to save at least 1.5 hours for your visit to the beer museum. A glass of crisp beer or the refreshing soda pop Limonaad is waiting for every guest in the A. Le Coq Gift Shop at the end of the tour.
We stop selling tickets an hour before the museum closes.
The museum closes three hours earlier before public holidays (on 23 February, 22 June, 23 December and 31 December).
The museum is closed on public holidays.
Tickets can be purchased at the A. Le Coq Gift Shop with cash or card.
The guided tour (in Estonian, Russian or English) lasts 60 minutes.
The interactive museum also offers enough excitement and knowledge to those who visit the Beer World on their own. The one-hour guided tour offers an opportunity to explore the interesting themes of this journey in greater depth. On the tour, you will learn more about the process of malting, how the Malt Tower works and the architectural background and history of this unique tower. The guided tour introduces the entire beer museum and its star exhibits, and gives you the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits individually afterwards.
